Corrupt Word Document
Today I came across a word 2003 document that would not open. Microsoft gives directions if it doesn’t open but we all know that Microsoft helps little when it comes to help. I discovered that the file was in fact corrupt. If you come across this problem try opening it is notepad. To do so Right Click the Saved Document and go to open with. Choose Notepad. If your document comes all jumbled up with a bunch of symbols I will have to direct you to a program.
This program is called Repaid My Word and it is free. I tried it on my corrupted document and it worked fine. It placed the new document that could be edited in .RTF format which Office opens with no problems. You can download it for free here.
