Ubuntu is an open source operating system, open source meaning free. It is free because many of the developers and coders object to paying for software, so their alternative was the code their own software and provide it to the public for free. To simply get Ubuntu, type “Get Ubuntu” into Google and click search. Once the search is done, click on the first link, depending on your CPU whether it is 32/64bit download the appropriate version, and burn the image as an .iso file.
