How To Reset Passwords in XP
Ever been on a computer and suddenly forget the administrator password? It has happened to me plenty of times and when it does I just reset the password. What is also great about this is that you don’t have to know the old password to change it. Go to Start->Right Click My computer-> Manage->Local User and Groups->Users-> Right Click Username->Set Password. Now just put in your password and put it in again to confirm it. Now just hit OK and you are done! This can be done for any username, but you just need to be able to logon to the computer.
