Market yourself into the web.
No matter what type of business you are trying to run online you will need to make sure you market yourself properly. Without marketing yourself you will not do very well. People like to do business with people they can relate with and trust, so remember always be honest when you’re promoting yourself on websites and forums. I find forums can be a great gateway to meeting new customers. Before posting what you want to sell on forums be sure to make valuable posts and get yourself recognized in the community. Once you are recognized as a trusted member of a community you can then notify them of your services, most times you will find enough business for awhile. This works for selling products as well, you need to be trusted before people will buy. I’ve noticed that offering a couple review copies of your product or service will do wonders for you. Try and get the review copies in the hands of members who have been there for awhile, and also who will post an honest review of your product. Once you have gotten a review from a reputable member you will be set to sell your product more widely. A lot of forum goers wait for the reviews of products before evening thinking about purchasing them. So don’t rush into a sales pitch with people, instead you should do what I’ve mentioned above. It is simple and doesn’t take much time, but you will notice a spike in revenue I assure you this.
