Upgrade Ram
Another component I wish to upgrade on my new computer is the ram. At the moment it is running 1 512mb stick and to most users this is adequate. However, to me this is not enough, which is why I am upgrading to a 2 gig stick. That will leave me with 2.5 gigs of ram which is plenty for multi tasking. The ram I chose to go with is PNY Optima 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory. $40 for a 2 gig stick seems more than reasonable to me. It will hopefully speed up my computer quite a bit, in conjunction with the new video card that I am getting.
