Wifi on the Highway
Hot spots are sporadically appearing all over towns, from local cafes to Barnes & Nobles. Internet usage has become a necessity for many Americans. People like to check their bank accounts, credit card statements, to chatting to friends. Even companies such as Google have provided free wireless internet to major cities. One area of expansion for wireless internet connection has reached local rest stops on the freeway. Many of these hot spots are not even encrypted or protected, which lead many to free wireless internet as they travel.
